Change for Kids believes that a fantastic elementary school experience starts children down the path to ultimate success. This experience takes place in a great school, led by an inspiring principal who rallies his/her teachers and community around a compelling vision.

When CFK partners with a school, we take part in that vision by becoming an integral member of the larger school network. We understand that lasting change takes time and requires consistent and sustained support. Developing deep, long-term relationships with key school and community stakeholders -- teachers, students, families, community leaders, and fellow community based organizations -- is vital.

CFK works as the school's primary advocate and service organization to provide instruction, guidance, and activities in four core areas: Arts, Literacy, Healthy Living, and Classroom Support. These areas commonly face the most intense budgetary challenges and promote our educational goals of:
