About Louise Phillips Forbes

The CFK Lifetime Change Award Honoree

Louise Phillips Forbes Louise Phillips Forbes, also fondly known as Weze, is an industry leader in New York City’s residential real estate market and a longtime champion of Change for Kids. With career sales exceeding $4 billion, she is considered one of the elite Power Brokers in Manhattan. Louise was named the Residential Agent of the Year by REBNY (the Real Estate Board of New York) in 2020 for her consistent achievements and leadership within the industry.

Despite her jam-packed schedule, Louise prioritizes giving back and has greatly impacted the lives of New York City’s youth over the past two decades. In 1997, Louise met CFK founder, Ted Madara, and the rest is history. From hosting countless Guest Reader sessions and inspirational speaking engagements to participating as a Career Day panelist and sponsoring literacy programs, Louise developed close relationships with CFK school partners and acted as a mentor to our students. An unforgettable example is when CFK student and aspiring fashion designer Naiomi attended New York Fashion Week with Louise, met fashion designer Michelle Smith, and even got a backstage tour!

Louise is the epitome of a CFK Ambassador, always raising awareness for the organization wherever she goes. In 2012, Louise was honored with the CFK Distinguished Service Award. But she didn’t slow down, and the next decade saw her as a frequent Gala Co-Chair, from the early days of Bowl for Kids, all the way to Super Chefs, and then Super Heroes. Over the years Louise also spearheaded many community fundraisers, including shop for a cause events, charity SoulCycle Rides, and more. Without her leadership and dedication, CFK would not be what it is today. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you, Weze.
