Watching children fall in love with learning and consistently embrace and overcome challenges is inspiring, and fuels Ashley’s passion to work in the education space. She is originally from Jericho, NY. After graduating from the University of Michigan (Go blue!) Ashley taught Kindergarten in East Harlem and on the Lower East Side of NYC. She is currently obtaining her Masters in Education Leadership, Policy, and Advocacy at NYU Steinhardt. Ashley joined the CFK team in a hybrid role: overseeing education practices at our Youth Engagement Center and liaising with external partners to drive collective impact and create equitable practices. Ashley’s favorite childhood memory is getting her first childhood pet - a yellow lab named Bailey.
